We offer Services:

The objectives of high risk obstetric care include:

a. Preconceptional counselling in woman with preexisting co-morbidities who are desirous of a pregnancy to optimize pregnancy outcomes by managing appropriate changes in drug profiles safe in pregnancy and also comprehensively reflecting on other parameters representative of different organ system like kidneys and the liver which may be affected by the pre-existing medical condition like hypertension, diabetes.

b. Antenatal surveillance – Periodic dedicated surveillance for hypertension, Diabetes and other medical problems complicating pregnancy, including prediction and prognosis of disease with blood test and ultrasonography will be performed and a surveillance plan made to optimize the outcomes. The prediction of adverse outcomes can be made a few weeks prior to disease which will add value for the clinical management in terms of risk stratification and better outcome.

c. Postnatal-These pregnant women will be followed up postnatally to look for persistence / progression of hypertension which could influence future cardiovascular risks and appropriate disease modifying agents will be prescribed in consultation with a physician and a further surveillance plan wil be drawn.

Laparoscopic surgeries-A laparoscopy is a diagnostic/ therapeutic procedure. Here the operating doctor uses a thin device with an attached light and camera to help them more clearly visualize organ damage and disease.During a laparoscopy, the healthcare provider inserts the laparoscope into the abdomen through a small incision in the abdomen. They will then use a camera, allowing for clearer imaging of the organs in the abdomen and pelvis.

Operative hysteroscopy-Hysteroscopy is a procedure that allows doctor to look inside your uterus in order to diagnose and treat causes of infertility, recurrent abortions, abnormal bleeding. Hysteroscopy is done using a hysteroscopy, a thin, lighted tube that is inserted into the vagina to examine the cervix and inside of the uterus.

Ultrasound scanning (TAS,TVS,Breast scanning, scrotal doppler)

Pre Pregnancy counselling-The goal of prepregnancy care is to reduce the risk of adverse health effects for the woman, fetus, and neonate by working with the woman to optimize health, address modifiable risk factors, and provide education about healthy pregnancy. All those planning to initiate a pregnancy are eligible for counselled,

Pregnancy care and delivery- Antenatal care and postnatal care

Painless delivery (Epidural analgesia)-Epidural analgesia is an injection of local anaesthetic alone, or more commonly in combination with (painkiller)analgesic. The injection is usually made in the low back region at the L2/3 or L3/4 space.Epidural analgesia provides a reliable and excellent analgesia during childbirth without resulting in concomitant maternal or foetal side effects. In most centres, a combination of local anaesthetic and opioid(painkiller) is administered via the epidural catheter. This method improves pain control, uses a smaller dose of either drug, and therefore has fewer side effects.

1st-trimester Triad for Aneuploidies & Preeclampsia- βhCG, PAPP-A & PIGF-two biochemical markers that have been extensively investigated and have shown promising results in early prediction of PE along with that βhCG in the screening aneuploidy combined with fetal nuchal translucency (NT), to screen the population and give the risk using specific algorithms for trisomy 21 and trisomies 18 and 13.

Non-invasive cell-free DNA (NIPT)-Non-invasive prenatal diagnosis (NIPD) or testing (NIPT) is based on a maternal blood test. A small amount of the baby’s DNA in the mother’s blood is used in NIPT for Down syndrome screening it works by counting the number of DNA fragments present in the maternal plasma during pregnancy.

2nd-trimester Quadruple test-The quadruple screen test is a blood test done during pregnancy during 4th to 5th month of pregnancy determine whether the baby is at risk for certain birth defects and has as a screen test for certain chromosomal defects.

Invasive fetal procedures – amniocentesis-Amniocentesis (also referred to as amniotic fluid test) is a medical procedure used in prenatal diagnosis of chromosomal abnormalities and fetal infections, in which a small amount of amniotic fluid(fluid around the fetus), which contains fetal cells, is sampled from the amniotic sac surrounding a developing fetus, and then the fetal DNA is examined for genetic abnormalities. The most common reason to have an "amnio" is to determine whether a fetus has certain genetic disorders or a chromosomal abnormality, such as Down syndrome.

Obstetric ultrasound

TIFFA scan (Targeted Imaging for Fetal Anomalies): 18-24 weeks-TIFFA scan is one of the important scans conducted during pregnancy. It is important because it detects any congenital abnormalities in the growing fetus.

Fetal Echocardiography- is a test similar to an ultrasound. This exam allows your doctor to better see the structure and function of your unborn child's heart. It's typically done in the second trimester, between weeks 18 to 24.

2nd or 3rd-trimester screening for preeclampsia-is specifically used for high risk group or those who were screen positive in first trimester this is done using biomarkers (blood test), Doppler’sultrasound, based on this individualized risk modulation planned.

Fetal well-being growth scan (Doppler included)- A growth scan is an ultrasound scan that determines whether your baby's growth is normal. Doctors typically recommend it for women during the third trimester of pregnancy.

Family planning counselling & Surgeries- we at our hospital follow cafeteria approach i.e., explain all the options available for contraception (family planning) and help you to decide suitable option for you.

Gynaecological surgeries(Uterus removal, Tumour removal)
Master health & Well women package
Infertility counselling
Follicular monitoring scan (including Doppler studies)
Hi-tech laboratory
Karyotyping- is test to determine normal pattern and number of chromosomes(genetic material) in an individual.

Hysterosalpingography-A hysterosalpingogram (HSG) is a procedure that uses an X-ray to look at the fallopian tubes and uterus(reproductive organs in a female). It usually takes less than 5 minutes and you can go home the same day.

Cancer screening and colposcopy
